Obtain Creative offers several flexible options to fit your needs. If you, your colleagues, or department are interested in starting or maintaining a WordPress based site, Obtain offers WordPress “Classes” that are broken down into three main sections. Each with customized progressions to fit you or your group’s personal needs. We think you’ll agree with others, we’re the best WordPress training experts around and love teaching others! WordPress Training Breakout
First WordPress Class
This class is focused on an introduction to the WordPress platform. This will include learning the difference between WordPress.com and WordPress.org, how to begin your WordPress download either through a one-click system or a manual download, choosing a theme, choosing a host, and describing things like what an FTP is. Other topics may include learning the differences between free and professional themes, and learning the basic functions of the WordPress Dashboard.
Second WordPress Class
This class will be focused on learning how the WordPress dashboard works. This will include instruction on how to navigate the dashboard, understanding what plug-ins are and how to use them, exploration and functionality of widgets, the difference between Pages, Posts, and Categories; settings panel, tools panel, introduction to contact forms, and basic WordPress practices.
Third WordPress Class
This is the most flexible session offered. It will focus on expanding on the knowledge from the previous classes, and will be custom tailored to your individual or company’s needs. We will discuss what widgets best benefit your site and how to organize them, what plug-ins are safe for your theme and how to implement them, an introduction into connecting social media to your site, basic organic SEO development, an introduction to inbound marketing through site content, and more. This class will most likely be determined by previous sessions and/or our initial consultation. This is a great option for those who simply want to expand upon their WordPress knowledge or site.
In addition to these classes, Obtain Creative offers on-going and individual training sessions. Obtain’s main focus is providing our clients with personalized training and help throughout their WordPress experience.

Not every content idea has an expiration date.
In fact, one of the smartest things you can do is revisit old ideas with new information. Check your analytics. Look at what your audience is engaging with now. Pay attention to shifts in your industry and how people are consuming content.
An idea that didn’t make sense six months ago might be a perfect fit today.
Of course, some things should stay buried. If the trend is dead, please let it rest.
But before you declare “we have nothing to post,” check the graveyard. You might have some content worth resurrecting.

A little glimpse into life outside of Obtain. ✨
Hi friends, Sheila here! I recently got to take one of our favorite family trips yet, exploring Yellowstone National Park, Grand Teton National Park, Bozeman, Montana, Jackson, Wyoming, and Victor, Idaho.
And wow. There really aren`t enough words to describe how beautiful this part of the country is. The mountains, lakes, wildlife, sunsets, and just being surrounded by so much open space made this trip feel a little magical.
We even got to see some pretty incredible wildlife along the way, including elk, a bear, and moose! 🐻🫎
But honestly, my favorite part wasn`t any one place we visited. It was getting to experience all of it together as a family. Belly was the perfect little travel buddy, and having that uninterrupted time together made the trip even more special.
We also got to celebrate two of our dear friends as they got married in one of the most beautiful places we`ve ever been. Getting to celebrate their love while surrounded by these mountains was something we`ll never forget.
One week, three states, a whole lot of family time, and memories we`ll be talking about for years.
Safe to say, we`re officially a mountain family. 😂

As a social media manager, I`ve learned that inspiration can show up anywhere, so I save it before my brain moves on to the next thing.
- Instagram Saves: For posts, Reels, trends and ideas I want to revisit.
- Screenshots: For those "wait, this is a good idea" moments.
- Obtain Instagram Group Chat: Because sometimes the team finds something that immediately sparks an idea for Obtain or one of our clients.
- Notes app: For random ideas that pop into my head at the most inconvenient times.
Not every saved idea becomes a post, but when it`s time to create, having a little library of inspiration makes starting from scratch a lot easier!
