A little glimpse into life outside of Obtain. ✨
Hi friends, Sheila here! I recently got to take one of our favorite family trips yet, exploring Yellowstone National Park, Grand Teton National Park, Bozeman, Montana, Jackson, Wyoming, and Victor, Idaho.
And wow. There really aren`t enough words to describe how beautiful this part of the country is. The mountains, lakes, wildlife, sunsets, and just being surrounded by so much open space made this trip feel a little magical.
We even got to see some pretty incredible wildlife along the way, including elk, a bear, and moose! 🐻🫎
But honestly, my favorite part wasn`t any one place we visited. It was getting to experience all of it together as a family. Belly was the perfect little travel buddy, and having that uninterrupted time together made the trip even more special.
We also got to celebrate two of our dear friends as they got married in one of the most beautiful places we`ve ever been. Getting to celebrate their love while surrounded by these mountains was something we`ll never forget.
One week, three states, a whole lot of family time, and memories we`ll be talking about for years.
Safe to say, we`re officially a mountain family. 😂

History, but make it a little haunted.
If you’ve never been to El Rancho de las Golondrinas, fall might be the perfect excuse.
Just south of Santa Fe, Las Golondrinas is a 500-acre living history museum where you can actually step into New Mexico’s past. We’re talking historic buildings, traditional trades, agriculture, demonstrations, and stories tied to the people and land.
And in October, things get a little spookier.
Spirits of New Mexico takes over the museum October 23 & 24 with farolito-lit paths, candlelit historic buildings, ghost stories, live entertainment, bonfires, s’mores, and plenty of reasons to wander around after dark.
Come for the ghosts. Leave knowing a little more about New Mexico.
And while you’re there, you’re supporting an organization doing the very cool work of keeping New Mexico history, traditions, and stories alive and accessible.
